My favorite quote for today:
“Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are
powerful beyond measure.” Marianne Williamson
I also remember a show where she talked about her first job and where she is now. Ophra said that each month when she has to write the page for "O" on what she knows for sure she anguishes over it because she know she is not a good writer. I thought, ME TOO!
This Blog is a huge stretch for me. In second grade my teacher was so mean, old and cranky. She would mark up my paper with red pencil and have the class do stand-up spelling tests. I would cry or cheat because I didn’t want to be the one embarrassed in front of the class. Ever since then grammar, spelling and composing anything makes me nervous. I feel inadequate. Here I am 52 years old and every time I send out an e-mail I wonder what I have done wrong. I’m famous for leaving endings off words. You know like s, ed, or ing. I have great ideas but I am so fearful of other making fun of my writing or thinking I’m stupid. Because of this for years I would do everything I could not to write.
So now you know my big and scariest fear and secret. For all who know me, know that if you get me talking I am intelligent, quick and smart; but for those who don’t know me and want to determine my intelligent by my literary works, I’m Forest Gump. That’s ok because I have Ophra who also struggles with writing.
The following was sent to me in an e-mail. You may have seen it a times or two but here it is again. Maybe it’s for my sake.

Gratitude Space:
- I am thankful my Jeep. It has been a great vehicle for me
- I am grateful my knowledge and practice of meditation.
- I am grateful my Dog. They can make me happy even when the mood in the room is sour.
- I am so grateful for the opportunity to go to Women’s meetings and learn from other who have lead the way for many of us
- I am grateful a cute pair of boots. Superficial I know but I have always wanted a cute pair and now at 52 I own them.
Until next time,
Namaste
