Start From Wherever You Are...

 My favorite quote for today:
“Start from wherever you are and with whatever you’ve got.”   Jim Rohn

Goals seem to be my theme for today.  I got up and thought I need to work on my goals for weight loss and exercise.   I do well with my morning meditation and now I need to add a evening session.

Yesterday I went to a Woman’s Conference and some of the items discussed were, to set a plan on where you wanted to be in your career and life. How many times do I have to hear this before I actually do it? In one of the session the speaker discussed setting up a vision board. She said in order to make your visions come true, you may have to put some effort into what you want. Also she discussed that before meditation she does an exercise of visualization.

So today before my meditation today I did a visualization exercise of the retreat resort that I would live to manage and run. Then on my way to work I was listening to Joel Osteen on the radio and he was talking about goals.  I know this and have heard this many times but have not been working on them and have not defined them.  So today I will look at all areas that I need to set goals both short and long term big and small.

My goal for today is to look at these areas. Start finding items for my vision board and just take this one step, just for today.

One goal I know is, doing the “Course”.  Now it’s time to add a few more goals to my list
Expected Start date for A Course in Miracles: Monday, November 24, 2014
Gratitude Space:

  • I am thankful my willingness to change.
  • I am grateful my morning play list.  Not only is it inspirational but it is just darn good music.  Someday I will share it on my blog.
  • I am grateful my employment at this time.  It gives me the opportunity to keep my skills up and think through issues.
  • I am so grateful laughter. It sure makes life a lot more fun. YouTube helps on days when you need something funny
  • I am appreciative of a good crisp apple.

Until next time,
Namaste
